Fuel filter

Fuel filter are there for filtering the fuel so dirt in the fuel and rust will not clog the injectors/ wear out the cylinder.

There are two types of fuel filter. A inline fuel filter and in tank fuel filter, in tank fuel filter is build into the fuel tank and is self cleaning it is made of mesh and steel wool. inline fuel filter should be changed every 50,000km but newer car are said to not need changing and should last a lifetime but nothing last  forever in practical, to check  if the fuel filter need replacing remove the fuel filter and blow through it if it is hard to blow it needs replacing.
